O.M.R. is a Mechanical Company certified UNI EN ISO 9001/2008, employing 96 people and located on an area of 23,000 m² (divided into two factories a few kilometres away from each other) of which 10,800 m² are covered and divided into 8600 m² for mechanical machining and assembly, m² 1500 for warehouse finished parts and shipment and m² 700 for offices and services.

Raw materials are stored on a service area easily accessible to trail-trucks. Material is handled by forklifts with a max lift of 12 tons or by a travelling crane with a max lift of 30 tons.

O.M.R. performs mechanical turning and milling processing for third parties and builds continuous rotary tables of medium/large dimensions for machine tools according to their own design.

OMR is equipped for series turning processes with horizontal CNC lathes starting from small diameters and with vertical CNC lathes from Ø 500 to Ø 3200 mm.

For milling the machine park is subdivided into horizontal/vertical palletized machining centers from 400 to 2500/2500 cubes, mobile horizontal boring mills from X:3000 to X:10.000 with rotary tables up to 2000×2000 and 20 Tons capacity and a milling/boring machine 6000×2800  with Universal Automatic Head, Testa D’ Andrea, sleeve Ø160×900 and rotary table 3000×2000 with capacity load 30Ton.

For over 25 years, O.M.R. for both national and European clients has been working for petrochemical and oil-gas sectors where it gained a reputation in manufacturing components for butterfly and ball valves. Furthermore  O.M.R. works important items for the construction of oil plants and spare parts such as distributors.

Thanks to the machine park composed of machining centres and boring and milling machines, equipped also with “Head d’Andrea” in continuous, O.M.R. can produce various 2-3 way special valves starting from full forging blocks.

In recent years, OMR specialized particularly in cladded Inconel 625 and, thanks to continuous investments, we can today manage large orders from preparation to cladded F316 or Inconel 625 on parts with EN 10204_3.2 traceability up to the delivery of finished part, ready-to-install with certifications regarding dimensions and not-destructive controls (Dye Penetrant examination – Ultrasonic – Magnetic particle examination…). Internally O.M.R. is equipped with Comau Robots with 2 stations for Stellite Gr.21 and Gr.6 cladding on butterfly valve bodies and on interchangeable rings.

For the butterfly valves sector, O.M.R. has a department with Carbon Steel and Stainless steel sand-blasting machine, where visual repairs on finished parts are performed.

Recently, O.M.R. has worked for valve manufacturer on big projects and has been involved on SHAH GAS project which is a good reference and makes us confident in managing any large-size projects.

As far as testing is concerned, OMR has an acceptance test department equipped with a CNC 2000x1200x1200 tridimensional measure machine with 2 latest-technology FARO measure arms and all necessary testing instruments, included hardness tester Brinnel 3000 and measuring instrument for the cladding thickness.

Moreover, for over three years, a further investment on a new portal 3D 6000x3000x2200 measuring machine (manufacturer: COORD 3) has been made for the new test department for heavy components with big sizes.
