MEI Valvole is an Italian company specialized in the manufacturing of industrial valves since 1985. Founded by the brothers Marcello and Lorenzo Mei, the company initially developed solutions for the domestic industrial market and later expanded internationally, becoming a limited liability company (S.r.l.) in 2001.
Today, MEI Valvole is both a manufacturer of industrial valves and a qualified technical partner, combining craftsmanship, engineering expertise, and specialized consultancy. The company continuously invests in technological innovation, production process automation, and sustainability through the use of advanced materials and energy-efficient machinery.

CHECK VALVES
DOUBLE PLATE CHECK VALVE – CD SERIES
Double plate check valve. Operation is based on fluid pressure: when pressure exceeds a certain threshold, the valve opens, allowing flow. If pressure drops or flow reverses, the valve automatically closes, preventing backflow. Used in high-pressure pipelines. Two types available: Retainer and Retainerless. Self-operating.
COUNTERWEIGHT CHECK VALVE – CC SERIES
Check valve with counterweight. Operation is based on fluid pressure: when pressure exceeds a certain threshold, the valve opens, allowing flow. If pressure drops or flow reverses, the valve automatically closes, preventing backflow. This type of valve is used for DN sizes above 300. The valve closes smoothly thanks to weights positioned on the side, which apply force to the disc and assist its movement. Self-operating.
DISC CHECK VALVE – DCEL
Disc-type check valve. Operation is based on fluid pressure: when pressure exceeds a certain threshold, the valve opens, allowing flow. If pressure drops or flow reverses, the valve automatically closes, preventing backflow. Compact design and self-operating.
SPRING CHECK VALVE (CLAPET) – CS SERIES
Spring-loaded check valve. Operation is based on fluid pressure: when pressure exceeds a certain threshold, the valve opens, allowing flow. If pressure drops or flow reverses, the valve automatically closes, preventing backflow. Can be installed on vertical pipelines with downward flow. Compact design and self-operating.

TRUNNION BALL VALVE – TV SERIES
Trunnion-mounted ball valve. Our trunnion design, with a supported ball, ensures easier operation and reduced torque. Ball + seat kits are available in both soft and metal-to-metal configurations. Manual operation can be via lever or gearbox, or actuated with pneumatic or electric actuators. Applications: petrochemical, marine, flue gas regulation, gas and water transmission.
SIGHT GLASSES
SIGHT GLASS – W SERIES
Circular sight glasses for tanks and pipelines. Allow direct visual inspection inside pipes or vessels for process monitoring. Applications: food and chemical industries.

Rectangular sight glasses for tanks and pipelines. Allow direct visual inspection inside pipes or vessels for process monitoring. Applications: food and chemical industries.
BUTTERFLY VALVES
BUTTERFLY VALVE – BV/BVT SERIES
Easy to install and clean (especially SR, CR, and DR models). Supports various connections: clamp, ferrule, tri-clamp, or welded. Perfect sealing performance. Operates at low pressure (max. 3 bar). Can be operated manually (lever) or via pneumatic actuators, limit switches, or solenoid valves. Applications: pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic industries, and powder regulation.
BUTTERFLY VALVE – BR/BRT SERIES
Also known as dosing valves, offering more precise flow control compared to BV series. Easy to install and clean (especially SR, CR, and DR models). Multiple connection options: clamp, ferrule, tri-clamp, or welded. Perfect sealing performance. Operates at low pressure (max. 3 bar). Manual or automated actuation available. Applications: pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic industries, and powder regulation.
BUTTERFLY VALVE – VFI SERIES
Wafer and Lug execution. Easy installation and maintenance.
Available materials:

Seal: EPDM (NBR/VITON/PTFE on request).
