Eni: agreement with ADNOC to accelerate emissions reductions.

Eni and ADNOC, the state-owned oil company of the United Arab Emirates, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that outlines a framework for cooperation on future joint projects in the areas of energy transition, sustainability, and decarbonization.

With this agreement, the two companies will evaluate new opportunities in the fields of renewable energy, carbon capture and storage technologies, and reduction of gas and methane emissions.

They may also consider areas of cooperation for sustainable development and the promotion of such a culture within the energy industry.
